Rob Lynch joins Howes Percival’s Oxford office with a remit to help establish a dedicated commercial property team in the city.

James Howarth, partner and head of Howes Percival’s Oxford office, said: “We are absolutely delighted to bring Rob over to Howes Percival.

“He is someone we know well already, and his appointment means we can establish a dedicated commercial property offering on the ground in Oxford and enhance the service we provide for our clients here.”

He added: “As well as expanding Howes Percival’s service offering in Oxford, Rob will play a key role in developing our office and its position in the city as it continues to grow.”

Mr Lynch brings extensive experience across real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, development, property finance, and specialist sectors such as head office relocations, tech campuses and marina developments.

Howes Percival’s commercial property team has a reputation as one of the largest and most skilled teams of property legal specialists outside London.

The team acts for a broad range of clients, including housebuilders, commercial developers, investors, lenders and public sector bodies.

The Oxford office was established in January 2024 following the acquisition of Maier Blackburn, a specialist commercial, IP & media law firm.

Maier Blackburn has a notable reputation in the media and entertainment field, acting for high-profile clients based in the UK, Europe and the US, including the Tolkien Estate.
