AAP targets BJP over ‘deteriorating’ law and order situation in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday (April 23, 2026) attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the “deteriorating” law and order situation in the national capital under the four-engine BJP government and claimed that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is completely silent on the issue.

“Although Delhi is the nation’s capital, it is now witnessing daily reports of murder and robbery. The situation has worsened to the extent that even the Delhi Assembly is receiving bomb threats. Schools and colleges, where children go to study, are receiving threats daily, yet the Delhi Police has not been able to trace those responsible. The situation in Delhi has become extremely dire,” AAP MLA Kuldeep Yadav said during a press conference at the party headquarters.
