Simultaneous Launch of Mighty, Pavis, and Xcient

Expanded Premium Features and Enhanced Component Durability

Various Events and Promotions to Celebrate the Launch

Hyundai Motor Company is simultaneously unveiling three of its flagship commercial vehicle models to customers.

On May 7, Hyundai Motor Company announced the simultaneous launch of the all-new 2027 Mighty, the all-new 2027 Pavis, the 2027 Xcient, and the all-new 2027 Xcient Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck, all of which feature a new design and significantly enhanced product value.

The three flagship commercial vehicle models introduced on this day were developed with a focus on optimal durability for Korea’s roads and driving environment, as well as providing a digital experience comparable to that of passenger cars. Key features include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and improved rear visibility, which enhance real-world safety for users.

The New 2027 Mighty: First Major Update in 11 Years

The New 2027 Mighty is a facelift model that has been introduced approximately 11 years after its initial launch in 2015. Three new chrome lines have been added to the front radiator grille. The addition of a V-shaped design and cube mesh detail pattern create a futuristic image and complete the family look for the commercial vehicle lineup.

Furthermore, LED rear combination lamps with sequential turn signals have been newly applied, enhancing the sense of luxury and visibility compared to the previous bulb-type combination lamps. Inside, a 12.3-inch cluster and AVN display have been installed, maintaining a wide field of view.

In terms of driving performance, the Advanced Eco-Roll feature has been applied to improve fuel efficiency by decoupling the powertrain during coasting or downhill driving, thus reducing unnecessary load. The electronic brake control system (EBS), which enables precise brake force distribution, further enhances braking stability.

Additionally, the use of synthetic oil in the rear axle has dramatically improved the replacement cycle from 40,000 km to 240,000 km, and improved viscosity retention in both high and low-temperature environments ensures greater driving stability.

Pavis Launches New ‘Prestige Max’ Trim for Heavy-Duty Loads

The New 2027 Pavis is a facelift model introduced about seven years after the original Pavis was launched in 2019. The latest update features a new trim specialized for heavy-duty loads, along with improvements that make the vehicle more robust and modern.

The New 2027 Pavis incorporates the concept of “Deep Contrast & Technical Boldness,” displaying vertical and horizontal H graphics on the front for a striking appearance.

Hyundai Motor Company has also equipped the New 2027 Pavis with a 12.3-inch cluster and AVN display, enhancing visibility and maximizing a high-tech feel.

The most notable change in the New 2027 Pavis is the introduction of the ‘Prestige Max’ trim for customers requiring a long wheelbase and heavy-duty load capacity. By increasing the frame height (from 240 mm to 280 mm) and thickness (from 7 mm to 8 mm), rigidity has been significantly reinforced and the reinforcement structure has been optimized, dramatically reducing concerns about frame deformation even when carrying heavy loads of up to 8/8.5 tons and improving driving stability.

The existing Allison 6-speed automatic transmission has also been upgraded to a 9-speed automatic, delivering optimal power and fuel efficiency for various driving conditions with a wider gear ratio range.

Xcient Facelift Features Advanced Safety and Convenience Features

Hyundai Motor Company also introduced the all-new 2027 Xcient Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck (FCEV) and the updated 2027 Xcient, both of which have received major updates four years after their initial release.

The 2027 Xcient, Hyundai’s flagship heavy-duty truck, now features improved braking performance and durability, tailored to real-world operating environments.

For the 2027 Xcient dump truck, Hyundai Motor Company applied a splined-type disc brake to improve both maintainability and durability. The application of a front axle kingpin bushing and variable-flow steering pump further enhance durability and reliability for extended operations.

Additionally, the latest models come equipped with an extensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (for pedestrians and bicycles), Stop & Go Smart Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC), Highway Driving Assist (HDA), Lane Following Assist (LFA with Hands-On Detection), and Intelligent High Beam Assist (HBA).

Furthermore, the newly improved fuel cell system and Idle Stop & Go feature improve energy efficiency by approximately 0.5%, establishing a new standard for eco-friendly heavy-duty trucks.

All three flagship commercial vehicle models feature the application of direct glazing technology to the front windshield glass, which enhances body rigidity and minimizes external noise intrusion, resulting in exceptional quietness.

To celebrate the launch of its three flagship commercial vehicle models, Hyundai Motor Company has prepared a variety of customer events and exhibitions. Customers using the freight brokerage platform ‘OneCall’ who take delivery of a new Mighty or Pavis will receive a discount of 1 million won, offered to the first 100 customers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, all customers who purchase and take delivery of a new Mighty 4-ton model with the Michelin tire option within this year will receive a Michelin tire coupon worth 300,000 won.
