KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday.

Earlier, His Majesty and Anwar were seen chatting while having breakfast at a restaurant in the capital, which included local kuih.

Their presence at the eatery in Jalan Raja Chulan here yesterday drew the attention of patrons who greeted and shook their hands.

After breakfast, Sultan Ibrahim held a private meeting with Anwar at Istana Bukit Tunku for about an hour, according to a post on the Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page.
