5th Hospitality Malaysia Conference 2025

The 6th Hospitality Malaysia Conference will convene on June 24, 2026, at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre, gathering over 400 investors, operators, developers, and hoteliers ahead of the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 milestone.

Organised by Hospitality Asia under the theme Leading Hospitality Forward: Investing in Design, Driving Results, the event will feature more than 30 sessions and 40 speakers distributed across three concurrent summits.

5th Hospitality Malaysia Conference 2025

The Hotel Investment Summit Malaysia will address capital strategy and market alignment. Key discussions will focus on connecting capital allocation with national tourism goals, modernising economy and mid-scale properties, and navigating the rise of alternative credit and branded residences. Panels will also evaluate asset repositioning strategies, such as property conversions and mixed-use developments, alongside the competitive advantages of ESG-driven hospitality assets.

Meanwhile, the Hotel Design Summit Malaysia centres on the intersection of architecture, operational value, and local identity. Panels featuring regional architects and interior designers will debate structural considerations for property conversions, purposeful spatial design, and the technical demands of integrating international brand standards into local mixed-use developments.

Lastly, the Hotel Revenue Summit Malaysia focuses on commercial operations, pricing strategies, and data analytics. Commercial leaders and technology providers will analyse modern models to optimise direct booking channels, leverage predictive tools for profitability, and streamline F&B operations.

The speaker lineup includes representatives from institutional investors, global hotel chains, and industry associations, including Reagan Chan (Khazanah Nasional Berhad), Sri Ganesh Michiel (Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association), Chuiling Lee (JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group), Harriet Hoong (Meliá Hotels International), and Bastien Touzeau (Hyatt Hotels Corporation).
