TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Tempo English compiled the top 3 news on Friday, April 17, 2026. Here are the highlights: Jakarta Police Probe UI Students’ Sexual Harassment Case; Katseye at Coachella 2026 Week 2: Start Time and Stage Info; and Anyma at Coachella 2026 Week Two: Schedule and What to Expect.

The following is the list of the top 3 news on Tempo English today:

1. Jakarta Police Probe UI Students’ Sexual Harassment Case

The Jakarta Metro Jaya Police is currently gathering evidence regarding allegations of sexual harassment involving several students at the University of Indonesia (UI). A total of 16 students are suspected of engaging in verbal and digital sexual harassment via a WhatsApp group.

Chief of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Police Sr. Comr. Budi Hermanto stated that the authorities have not yet received a formal police report concerning the case. “As of today, the Metro Jaya Police has not officially received a police report,” Budi told reporters on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

However, the Metro Jaya Police has taken proactive steps to address the case. The Directorate of Women and Children’s Protection and Anti-Human Trafficking (PPA and PPO) has coordinated directly with UI.

2. Katseye at Coachella 2026 Week 2: Start Time and Stage Info

Last week, Katseye left the crowd in a trance with their high-energy performance. Now, just as anticipation builds, the global girl group returns to rock the Sahara Stage once again.

Katseye’s appearance in the 2026 Coachella lineup highlights the festival’s commitment to bringing together diverse global stars. This is especially evident as the group’s members hail from distinct cultural backgrounds, including South Korea, the Philippines, and India.

Now the question is: what can you expect from Katseye’s performance at Coachella 2026 Week Two? Let’s find out.

3. Anyma at Coachella 2026 Week Two: Schedule and What to Expect

For festival-goers left disappointed by the cancellation of Anyma’s set during Coachella 2026’s first week, that frustration should fade as he returns for Week 2. The Italian-American producer and DJ is gearing up to bring his signature mind-bending audiovisual show to the festival, potentially marking the debut of his new project, ÆDEN, if rescheduled accordingly.

While Anyma’s sound and visual identity diverge from Coachella’s more mainstream-leaning acts, his set stands out for its fusion of melodic techno and immersive digital art.

Whether you are part of the massive desert crowds or tuning in from home, here is a guide to Anyma’s appearance at week two of Coachella 2026.
