JAKARTA – ANTA Indonesia brings National Basketball Association (NBA) basketball star Kyrie Irving to Indonesia to greet basketball lovers in the Kyrie Irving World Tour 2026 “The Return” series.

A series of events to welcome the arrival of the Dallas Mavericks star was held at City Hall, Pondok Indah Mall 3, Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The presence of the American basketball player was a special moment for the basketball community in Indonesia to meet directly with one of the influential players in his generation.

Carrying the theme “The Return”, the agenda is part of ANTA’s commitment to supporting the development of basketball culture as well as providing an exclusive experience for basketball sports fans in Indonesia.

On this occasion, Irving appeared in an inspirational talk session discussing his career journey, playing philosophy, and his views on the development of basketball in the world.

In addition to the talk show session, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session, special performances, and various interactive activities with the basketball community. On this occasion, ANTA also introduced the latest collection inspired by the player’s life and career journey.

The enthusiasm was evident from the thousands of fans who crowded the event location. They came to see the figure of the player who has recorded various achievements at the international and NBA levels.

“I am very honored to be able to come in the middle of fans in Jakarta. Of course I want to thank the fans who have welcomed me while I’ve been here,” said Kyrie Irving.

Jakarta is one of the destinations in the The Return 2026 World Tour series after Irving previously visited a number of cities such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Las Vegas, New Jersey, and Macau.

While in Indonesia, the player known for his dribbling skills and creativity also took the time to visit the ANTA store. Irving was accompanied by his father and interacted with fans, the basketball community, and a number of national athletes.

This world tour is also part of the promotion of Irving’s latest shoe line with ANTA. The collection has personal value because it is inspired by the figure of his mother, Elizabeth Irving, who is said to have a big role in his life and career journey.

Irving is one of the best point guards of his generation. With the United States national team, he won the 2016 Rio Olympic gold medal. Meanwhile, at the club level, he was an important part of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ history of winning the NBA title in 2016.

The title was the first NBA trophy in the history of the Cavaliers and strengthened Irving’s status as one of the elite players in the world’s professional basketball competition.

In addition to meeting fans, the series of events for The Return 2026 World Tour also presents a 3×3 basketball exhibition match. A number of national athletes such as Rio Disi, Surliyadin, Sandy Ibrahim, Kevin Moses Poetiray, and Althof Satrio appear to face the San Beda University team from the Philippines.

The activity was held competitively and also became an event to strengthen the relationship between basketball communities between countries.

In addition, this event also presents the team of Indonesian women’s basketball legend, Marjorice Fedora Tsarine. The young players got the opportunity to attend coaching sessions and play 4×4 basketball under the direction of Kyrie Irving with Ali Budimansyah.

ANTA Indonesia also hopes to continue to contribute to building a national basketball ecosystem and provide inspiration for young generations to pursue achievements through hard work, discipline, and a spirit of never giving up.
