The United States joins Malaysia, Spain, Germany and more nations at HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026, where 1,000+ exhibitors and 100,000+ trade visitors will gather in Central China from 8–10 August.

The United States is aligning with Malaysia, Spain, Germany and more nations as HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 prepares to bring together more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 100,000 trade visitors in Central China. From 8–10 August, the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre will become a global meeting place for the hospitality, foodservice and catering industries. Moreover, the exhibition is expected to showcase cutting-edge products, commercial technologies and international business opportunities. As companies strengthen partnerships and explore new markets, the event highlights China’s expanding influence as a leading destination for hospitality investment, innovation and cross-border trade.

Zhengzhou is preparing to become one of China’s busiest hospitality and foodservice business hubs this August as HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 returns with a large-scale showcase of innovation, commercial networking and industry collaboration. Scheduled to take place from 8 to 10 August 2026 at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event is expected to attract more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 100,000 professional visitors, reinforcing Central China’s growing importance in the hospitality and catering economy.

The three-day exhibition will unite companies from across the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, café, bakery and catering supply chain under one roof. Organisers have designed the event to serve as a comprehensive marketplace where businesses can launch products, secure partnerships, explore new technologies and identify emerging market opportunities. With China’s hospitality sector continuing to evolve through digitalisation, consumer demand and supply chain innovation, HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 is expected to provide an important platform for industry growth.

A major meeting point for the hospitality and foodservice industries

HOTELEX has established itself as one of China’s leading hospitality exhibition brands, and the Zhengzhou edition continues to expand its influence in Central China. The exhibition is expected to occupy approximately 70,000 square metres, bringing together suppliers and buyers representing nearly every segment of the hospitality ecosystem.

Visitors will include hotel owners, restaurant operators, café chains, bakery businesses, catering companies, food manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, importers, exporters, franchise operators, investors, procurement professionals and commercial kitchen specialists. The event aims to encourage business matchmaking while offering attendees opportunities to discover the latest equipment, ingredients and operational solutions.

For companies looking to strengthen their presence in China’s domestic market or establish new partnerships across the region, the exhibition offers direct access to decision-makers from both public and private sectors.

More than 1,000 exhibitors expected across multiple industry sectors

Organisers expect more than 1,000 exhibitors to participate in the combined exhibition, representing an extensive range of products and services supporting the hospitality and foodservice industries.

The exhibition will feature commercial kitchen equipment, hotel supplies, guest room products, restaurant furniture, tableware, refrigeration systems, food processing machinery, food packaging equipment, bakery machinery, coffee machines, tea equipment, beverage technology, frozen foods, seafood, meat products, prepared meals, ingredients, seasonings, cold chain logistics and smart hospitality technologies.

In addition to established manufacturers, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet technology providers introducing digital solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, customer service and business management across hotels and restaurants.

The broad exhibitor profile reflects the increasing integration of technology, sustainability and automation within the hospitality industry, making the exhibition relevant for businesses of all sizes.

International participation expected despite no official country list

Although organisers have not yet published an official list of participating countries for the 2026 edition, HOTELEX has built an international reputation through its wider exhibition portfolio and is expected to welcome overseas exhibitors alongside domestic Chinese companies.

Previous editions of HOTELEX have attracted businesses from markets including Italy, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, France, Spain, Turkey and the United States. These international participants typically showcase commercial coffee equipment, bakery technologies, kitchen solutions, hospitality software, premium food products and restaurant innovations.

The absence of a confirmed country list does not diminish the event’s international appeal, particularly as Zhengzhou continues to strengthen its role as one of China’s major logistics and transportation centres, connecting domestic businesses with global supply chains.

More than 100,000 professional visitors anticipated

Organisers expect the exhibition to attract over 100,000 professional visitors during the three-day event, underlining the growing commercial significance of Central China’s hospitality market.

Attendees are expected to include representatives from hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, convenience store chains, catering companies, educational institutions, government procurement agencies and hospitality investment firms.

For exhibitors, this concentration of qualified buyers provides valuable opportunities to generate business leads, demonstrate products and strengthen commercial relationships in one of China’s fastest-growing regional markets.

Industry competitions and conferences add practical value

Beyond the exhibition floor, HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 will host a comprehensive programme of competitions, conferences and professional forums designed to encourage innovation and knowledge sharing.

Scheduled activities include coffee competitions, beverage innovation contests, bakery conferences, catering industry forums, franchise development discussions and food processing seminars. These sessions will allow professionals to exchange practical expertise while exploring new market trends and operational strategies.

The educational programme complements the exhibition by creating opportunities for networking, skills development and collaboration between manufacturers, suppliers and hospitality operators.

Strengthening Central China’s hospitality economy

Zhengzhou’s strategic location has made it one of China’s most important transportation and logistics hubs, positioning the city as an increasingly attractive destination for large-scale trade exhibitions. Its expanding infrastructure and strong connectivity continue to support growth across hospitality, tourism and foodservice industries.

As businesses seek resilient supply chains and new commercial opportunities, HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 is expected to play a significant role in connecting manufacturers with buyers while supporting investment across hotels, restaurants, cafés and catering operations.

With more than 1,000 exhibitors, over 100,000 expected professional visitors and an extensive programme of industry events, the exhibition is set to become one of the largest hospitality trade gatherings in Central China this year. For businesses aiming to expand their presence in one of the world’s largest hospitality markets, HOTELEX Zhengzhou 2026 offers a timely opportunity to explore partnerships, showcase innovation and shape the future of the industry.

With more than 1,000 exhibitors expected to showcase products ranging from commercial kitchen equipment and hospitality technologies to coffee solutions, bakery innovations and food processing systems, visitors will gain access to one of the most comprehensive industry marketplaces in Central China. At the same time, the anticipated arrival of over 100,000 professional trade visitors highlights the event’s commercial significance and its ability to connect manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, investors and buyers under one roof.
