Salah Gamblat, Minister of State for Military Production, held talks with a delegation from India’s Parasn Advanced Systems, a company specialising in high-performance engineering and industrial solutions, to explore avenues for strengthening strategic cooperation across a range of manufacturing sectors.
The meeting comes in line with directives from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to expand cooperation with global companies in support of local manufacturing, infrastructure development, and sustainable development goals.
During the discussions, Gamblat highlighted the strength of Egyptian-Indian relations, which have seen notable progress in recent years, alongside growing economic and defence cooperation that serves the mutual interests of both countries.

He noted that the talks focused on enhancing manufacturing capabilities and increasing production capacity within companies and units affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production. The meeting also reviewed the sector’s technological, industrial, and technical capabilities, as well as available resources, stressing that adopting advanced manufacturing technologies is key to continuous modernisation.
For their part, representatives of Parasn Advanced Systems praised Egypt’s industrial capabilities and expressed their interest in deepening strategic cooperation with the ministry, with a view to exchanging expertise and achieving greater integration between both sides.
The company also outlined the potential for a partnership with the ministry – particularly through Abu Zaabal Company for Specialised Chemicals (Factory 18) – aimed at transferring advanced manufacturing technologies to chemical production lines, expanding existing capacities, and maximising operational efficiency.
