Could UAE Team ADQ go through management changes mid-season? 📸 SWpix.

Hi Subscribers,

Over the last couple of days, we’ve heard several reports from inside and outside of UAE Team ADQ of simmering tensions between the management board in Abu Dhabi and Team Principal Yana Seel.

According to sources close to the situation, negotiations are now underway between Seel and the board regarding the team’s approach, direction, and her position. Seel has managed the team since the end of 2024, having previously held management roles at Astana and Lotto.

Last week, Escape Collective ran a story that Seel had been let go and that Cherie Pridham was a possible in-house replacement, with Pridham currently serving as Head Sports Director over the last few years. However, Seel is still currently employed by the team, and her contract runs until the end of 2028.
