Daniel Kinahan’s been arrested in the United Arab Emirates.
He was detained on Wednesday on foot of an arrest warrant issued by the Irish Courts in relation to alleged serious organised crime offences.
Police in Dubai say they’ve arrested an Irish national for his alleged role in an international organised crime network.
It’s understood that man is Daniel Kinahan.

UAE Police say after receiving a judicial file from Irish authorities, they immediately launched intensive search and surveillance operations, leading to the suspect’s capture within 48 hours of the warrant being issued.
In a statement, Gardaí say they are steadfast in their determination they will pursue those allegedly involved in serious organised crime, wherever they go.
They also say at this time, the arrest remains a matter for authorities in the United Arab Emirates.
