Qatar Airways continued to rebuild its Doha schedule, publishing a revised programme that targets more than 120 destinations by mid-May, while warning that flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation. Qatar Airways also kept date change and refund options in place for confirmed bookings with travel dates between 28 February and 15 June, including rebooking to a new travel date up to 31 October.

British Airways kept cancellations and temporary suspensions across parts of its Middle East programme, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with its travel news page indicating Dubai services remain cancelled until later this month and Abu Dhabi services until later this year.

Air India continued to publish a rolling operating plan for West Asia routes, with its latest update covering scheduled and non-scheduled flights for 8 April, subject to slot availability and prevailing conditions at departure stations. IndiGo has also used social updates to urge passengers to check flight status before travel during continuing disruption.

European and Asian airlines extend suspensions into May

Lufthansa Group continued to list a broad suspension programme, holding flights to the region through 30 April, with Dubai and Tel Aviv listed through 31 May and multiple regional points listed through 24 October, alongside free rebooking or refund options for affected passengers.

KLM kept Dubai suspensions in place through Sunday, 17 May, and set rebooking rules for affected itineraries, including free changes to travel dates up to mid June under specified ticket conditions.

More from Arabian Business

Singapore Airlines kept its Singapore Dubai services cancelled through 31 May, listing the affected flight numbers and advising customers to use its flight status page for updates.

Bahrain International Airport also returned to flight operations this week under staged sequencing after the reopening of national airspace, with passengers directed to verify timings with their airline as schedules reset.

Dubai International and Zayed International Airport kept reduced schedules on Friday, April 10, as airlines continued to manage networks under temporary regional airspace restrictions.

Dubai Airports repeated its guidance for passengers to travel only after receiving a confirmed departure time directly from their airline. Experience Abu Dhabi carried the same message for AUH.

UAE carriers hold waivers and reduced schedules

Emirates maintained a reduced flight schedule and told customers to keep checking flight status, including after online check-in. Emirates also set rebooking options for customers booked to travel between 28 February and 31 May, allowing changes to the same destination or another destination within the same region for travel on or before 15 June, along with refund options.

Etihad Airways maintained its waiver for tickets issued on or before 28 February with original travel dates between 28 February and 15 April, allowing rebooking through 15 June, with refunds linked to ticket conditions.

flydubai continued to flag reduced schedules and longer sector times linked to temporary rerouting, directing passengers to check flight status before travelling to the airport.

Air Arabia published rebooking and refund options for cancelled flights linked to current airport closures in the UAE, including a free date change within 30 days, a credit voucher, or a refund to the original form of payment. Sharjah Airport continues to publish live departures online as airlines reset timings.
