Bandipora, Aug 7 (KNS): Senior political leader from Bandipora, Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray, was invited to participate in the national dialogue titled “Listening to Jammu & Kashmir: Dialogue, Dignity and Democratic Futurity,” organised at the Constitutional Club of India, New Delhi, on August 5.

The high-level dialogue brought together Members of Parliament, former parliamentarians, constitutional experts, academicians and civil society representatives to deliberate on issues relating to democracy, constitutional values and the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

In the invitation addressed to Tantray, Member of Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi appreciated his distinguished contributions to public life and said his participation and insights would add value to the deliberations.

Expressing gratitude for the invitation, Mushtaq Ahmad Tantray said it was an honour to be part of a national platform dedicated to discussing the future of Jammu & Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

“It is a privilege to participate in a dialogue that seeks to listen to the voices and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. Such engagements provide an important opportunity for constructive discussions on democracy, dignity and the way forward,” Tantray said.

He reiterated the need for meaningful dialogue, inclusive participation and democratic engagement to address the concerns and aspirations of the people.

The invitation to Tantray is being seen as recognition of his public outreach and political engagement, while also highlighting Bandipora’s representation in an important national-level discussion on Jammu & Kashmir. (KNS)
