Juneyao Air (HO, Shanghai Hongqiao) launched a share repurchase scheme on July 13, 2026, acquiring 2,158,900 shares for CNY21.5 million yuan (USD3.2 million). The initial purchase represents 0.1% of the airline’s total share capital. The board approved the buyback scheme on July 8, 2026, allocating between CNY400 million and CNY800 million (USD59.1-118.2 million) to buy back stock until July 7, 2027. The airline capped the repurchase price at CNY15 (USD2.21) per share and will reserve the equity for employee stock ownership and incentive schemes.
