Rite Foods Limited, a leading player in Nigeria’s food and beverage industry, has been honoured with the National Sustainability Achievements Awards 2026 in recognition of its outstanding commitment to sustainable manufacturing, product innovation, environmental stewardship, and responsible corporate leadership.

The company received the recognition following recommendations by the Awards Technical Committee, which selected Rite Foods in the categories of Best Food Processing Carbonated Drink Formulation and Clean Energy Company of the Year 2026.

The National Sustainability Achievement Awards, organised by ESG Impact Consulting Limited celebrates organisations that demonstrate measurable commitment to sustainability by successfully balancing business growth with environmental responsibility and social impact. According to the organisers, recipients are evaluated based on key performance indicators such as impact, environmental stewardship, and contributions towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

For Rite Foods, the award reflects years of strategic investment in world-class manufacturing, advanced technology, energy-efficient operations, product quality, and environmentally responsible business practices. Sustainability remains central to the company’s operations, shaping every stage of its value chain from production and resource to innovation and stakeholder engagement.

As one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous food and beverage manufacturers, Rite Foods continues to raise industry standards through premium-quality products, consumer-focused innovation, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, and a corporate culture built on excellence, integrity, and sustainable growth.

Reacting to the recognition, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, described the award as a strong endorsement of the company’s long-standing commitment to creating value for consumers while protecting the environment and contributing to national development.

“This recognition inspires us to continue raising the bar in responsible manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable business practices. At Rite Foods, sustainability is not simply an initiative; it is a guiding principle that shapes our operations, our investments, and our vision for the future,” he said.

Adegunwa reaffirmed the company’s commitment to deepening investments in cleaner technologies, resources efficiency, operational excellence, environmental sustainability, and community-focused initiatives that will continue to create lasting value for future generations.

The latest honour further reinforces Rite Foods Limited’s reputation as a forward-looking Nigerian manufacturer dedicated to innovation, quality, environmental responsibility, and sustainable value creation. It also highlights the company’s growing influence as an industry leader, helping to shape the future of sustainable food and beverage manufacturing in Africa’s largest economy.

The recognition adds to an impressive list of recent achievements for the proudly Nigerian and truly world-class company. Rite Foods recently got recognised as the Best Food and Beverage Brand Award at the Global Brands Awards, organised by the United Kingdom-based Global Brands Magazine.

The award also comes on the heels of Seleem Adegunwa’s recognition as Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and significant contributions to Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
