His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call today from HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
At the outset of the call, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his condolences to HH The Amir over the incident that occurred at one of the industrial facilities in Ras Laffan City, expressing his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery. He affirmed the UAE’s support and solidarity during this difficult time.
For his part, HH The Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his sincere sentiments and fraternal solidarity, commending the UAE’s stance, solidarity and support for the State of Qatar.
During the call, they also reviewed the close fraternal relations between the two countries.
