InteleTravel has launched operations in the United Arab Emirates, headquartered in Dubai.
The host agency has launched its operation there with preferred supplier partnerships across the industry and the infrastructure, including permits and operating licenses, to serve travel advisors there.
Major Travel, owned by InteleTravel, will launch its tour operator business in the UAE, as well.
This latest expansion has been in the works for more than a year and moved forward despite the geopolitical upheaval in the area.
“We’ve been preparing for this expansion for more than a year because we recognized the UAE’s role as a global travel and business hub,” said James Ferrara, InteleTravel’s cofounder and CEO. “We committed to moving forward before recent developments in the region because we believe in the market’s long-term future and the opportunities it presents for advisors, suppliers and travelers alike. This launch reflects our confidence in where the UAE is headed and the role it will continue to play in global travel.”
InteleTravel’s network is home to 145,000 advisors around the world. The Delray Beach, Fla.-based host agency sits at No. 19 on Travel Weekly’s Power List, recording $1.52 billion in 2025 sales.
InteleTravel also operates in the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, Mexico and the Caribbean.
