India’s Iranian Crude Purchases Likely Remain Limited Despite Waiver

Indian refiners, officials and market analysts tell Energy Intelligence that they expect greater indirect benefits from the US’ new 60-day sanctions waiver on Iranian oil than they do a direct flood of fresh crude oil supplies given steep competition and continued wariness of transactions with Iran. But more risk-taking could take shape for desperately needed LPG supplies.
