Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced his visit to the city of Hangzhou, China, and emphasized the expansion of bilateral cooperation with the country.
On Saturday, May 23, Shehbaz Sharif wrote on his X account that the visit is part of efforts to strengthen relations between Pakistan and China and aims to expand cooperation in various sectors.
Sharif said that Pakistan and China can enhance their cooperation in areas such as the digital economy, e-commerce, information technology, telecommunications, agriculture, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and skills development.
He stated: “I look forward to engaging with President Xi Jinping and the Chinese leadership while reaffirming our shared commitment to further strengthening the enduring bond of friendship between our two brotherly nations.”
Shehbaz Sharif added that as the two countries mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, Islamabad remains committed to further strengthening sustainable cooperation with Beijing.
