Change At The Top Of Howden In Hong Kong

Howden”s clientele include private individuals all the way up to multinational corporations.


Howden, a global
insurance intermediary group, has appointed Alaric Lee as CEO for
Hong Kong, succeeding Alfred Sham, who will relocate to Singapore
to take on the role of chief strategy office for Asia. 


Lee’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval, Howden said
in a statement yesterday. Lee, who is currently chief
commercial officer, Asia, has extensive exprience including
more than a decade in Hong Kong.


Sham, who led the Hong Kong business for the past two years,
during which time it has doubled in size, now has a
broader new remit.


Founded in 1994, Howden provides insurance, reinsurance and
underwriting services and solutions to clients ranging from
private individuals to the largest multinational companies. The
firm operates in 57 countries including Europe, the US, Africa,
Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand,
it employs more than 24,000 people, and manages premiums
totalling over $50 billion for clients.
