Loacker has strengthened its partnership with King Power Thailand with a new in-store activation at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The initiative, which is running throughout May, showcases its new 466.5g Misto Bontà variety pack and core travel retail portfolio. It reflects the growth of premium confectionery gifting and sharing formats along consumers.

The Misto Bontà assortment, which was initially rolled out at last year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, targets self-consumption, on-the-go snacking, family sharing and multi-occasion gifting.

Individually wrapped versions include: one Wafer Thins Dark Chocolate (37.5g); seven Classics (45g each) in Napolitaner, Double Choc, Vanilla, Cremkakao, Alpine Milk, Cocoa & Milk and Peanut Butter; and three Gardenas (38g each) in Hazelnut, Coconut and Chocolate.

The assortment is presented in red packaging with a practical integrated carry handle, to maximise visibility and convenience in a fast-paced airport environment.

Juan Miguel Cabrera, Head of Travel Retail and Duty Free at Loacker, said: “Our partnership with King Power Thailand continues to go from strength to strength, and this activation demonstrates the strong momentum we are building together in a key travel retail market.

“It also provides the ideal platform to introduce Misto Bontà, a premium assortment created to meet the growing demand for convenient, shareable and giftable confectionery formats.”

Yongsak Kongthanarat, Department Manager – Merchandising at King Power Thailand, added: “We are delighted to support the launch of Misto Bontà within our airport retail environment. Loacker continues to perform strongly across our locations, and this activation provides an excellent platform to drive shopper engagement while further strengthening the premium confectionery category.”

The displays also spotlight Loacker’s “100 Years” and “All for Goodness” messaging.
