Money for nothing? Here’s a guide to financial domination for beginners

Every now and again, there will be a resurgence of the mythical ‘Money Slave’ kink.

Sordid documentaries or ill informed articles will tell you there’s a group of people out there who would love nothing more than to give you their money for absolutely nothing in return.

From costumes to characters – here’s a beginner’s guide to role play

Could this be true? Is this a real fetish? Well, yes and no.

Financial domination, like many BDSM activities, just isn’t that easy or straightforward for either party.

Money slaves do exist and they come under many guises: pay pigs, human ATMs, human wallets etc.

They want to lose control, but for them it can be equally as hard finding someone who really knows what they’re doing and isn’t just in it for the money.

Financial domination can also take many forms – some slaves want to be slowly driven to ruination, and other just get a kick out of sending tributes.

There are also those who might do it for the pure humiliation of having a woman laugh at him while she lingers on how pathetic he must be because he has to pay her for her attention.

Obviously, it’s best all round to know what the limits are.

So for prospective Findoms (aka financial dominatrices) and pay pigs alike, here are a few tips you can have for free.

Budgeting

Some slaves want their Mistress/Master totally in control of their budget, giving only a small allowance to live on. This does not, however, mean the dominant party gets to spend the rest on themselves.

The kick for the sub is that they are eeking out a living eating bread, beans, and the basics to keep the dominant happy. It’s what is known as a Total Power Exchange.

Could you really spend someone else’s money while they lived off practically nothing? If the answers yes, you should seriously think about joining the conservatives.

When I tried this with a client, I spent a month drip feeding a small amount to him day by day.

However, what I wasn’t expecting were the texts and calls and emails all day, every day, begging for more and thanking me for being so strict.

Although I could keep the money that was left at the end of the month, it certainly wasn’t enough to cover what I felt had been a 24 hour job for four weeks.

The money gave the sub a sense of entitlement – that he could call any time day or night – and when I didn’t answer he would, quite frankly, be a massive pain in the arse.

His comeback would be that he wouldn’t do the same arrangement with me next month (fine by me), but would then make it out that it was my fault – that I was somehow a bad Domme because I did not want to answer his texts and calls at 3am.

No amount of money is worth that amount of a strain on my work ethic.

Another form of financial domination is blackmail.

It’s a big word, and something that should be done in controlled circumstances with someone you trust.

Basically, a client wants me to threaten him. I would tell him I was going to send pictures of him in ‘provocative’ situations to his friends, family and workplace unless he sent over a certain amount of money.

Here’s the thing – I never had the pictures. I never had any contact details other than his, so it was all roleplay – and that’s certainly how I liked it and what I would recommend when dealing with someone you don’t know.

Fines

One of the fun ways you can use to ‘extort’ money is by using fines – basically a kinky swear jar.

Has your sub tried to ‘top from the bottom’? Fiver in the jar.

Have they flinched during a spanking? Fiver in the jar.

Missed something from the shopping list? That’s a spanking and a fiver in the jar.

This could be for anything, but a submissive client of mine would love to take things further.

He would ask me to send rubbish like chewed gum and cigarette ends to him in the post. If I didn’t receive a picture of him eating them a week later? Fiver in the jar.

Tributes and gifts

Thanks to the overwhelming amount of time wasters on fetish sites, it’s not unusual now for women to ask for a tribute – this has become true for Findoms and for a lot of Dominatrices in general.

This is usually a small amount of money to prove the so-called slave has serious intentions, otherwise it can lead to both parties wasting their time.

We’re all just a little bit bored of men lining up on Fetlife saying they want to be dominated, when what they really want is to spuff off over their keyboard for half an hour. So a £20 Amazon voucher is the least you can do.

How to find a Findom

Fetish sites are awash with beautiful, statuesque dominatrices telling you they will control you and make you serve them and all you need to do is send them a fitting tribute.

Here’s a clue: if it seems to good to be true, it usually is.

Look for a Domme who hasn’t plastered the same copy and paste advert everywhere. Try finding someone who has more than one heavily photoshopped picture, and has taken part in events and discussions.

As I said, it’s not unusual now for someone to ask for a tribute before they begin talking to many subs, but as to whom you give that tribute to? Well, that’s a chance you will have to take.

Was it ever ‘money for nothing’? Not really.

It’s just as much a Findom’s responsibility to prove she’s not a time waster as it is the sub’s.

They’re looking for you to manipulate them to part with their cash, to use your control and influence. If you don’t have that, then there is definitely no such thing as a free lunch.
