India gold and silver price today 7 December 2025: City-wise prices for 24K, 22K gold and silver

Mumbai: Gold prices across India were flat on 7 December 2025, with 24-karat gold priced at ₹13,015 per gram, 22-karat at ₹11,930 per gram and 18-karat at ₹9,761 per gram. The rates remained unchanged from yesterday. Major cities reported similar pricing trends, with slight variations in locations such as Chennai and Vadodara.

City-wise, Chennai recorded the highest 24-karat price at ₹13,135 per gram, while Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad maintained a uniform rate of ₹13,015 per gram. Ahmedabad and Vadodara reported a marginally higher rate of ₹13,020 per gram for 24-karat gold.

Silver prices in Chennai also remained stable at ₹199 per gram and ₹1,99,000 per kilogram. Silver rates showed no intraday movement, reflecting muted activity in the broader bullion market.

The unchanged gold and silver rates come amid strong global interest in precious metals, driven by inflation concerns, expectations of US interest-rate cuts and sustained central-bank buying. Despite the stability in domestic prices, analysts expect precious metals to remain supported in the coming months.

On 7 December 2025, India’s bullion market opened with stable gold and silver prices nationwide. The 24-karat gold rate stood at ₹13,015 per gram, the 22-karat rate at ₹11,930 and the 18-karat rate at ₹9,761. Larger quantities reflected the same stability, with 10 grams of 24-karat gold priced at ₹1,30,150 and no change from the previous day.

Investors continue to monitor global cues, including inflation expectations, strength of the US dollar, central-bank buying trends and potential interest-rate adjustments, all of which historically influence gold and silver demand.
