Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has launched a new initiative encouraging residents to invite friends and family to visit the emirate, offering rewards as part of efforts to boost inbound tourism.

Running from 20 July to 31 October 2026, the ’A Dubai Invite’ campaign allows UAE residents to nominate eligible overseas visitors for rewards worth more than AED3,000 (US$816), including hotel stays, dining experiences and attraction tickets.

Residents aged 18 or above can nominate up to five overseas visitors at a time and must provide guest arrival details. Benefit packages will begin to be issued in August 2026 and will become available within 72 hours of guests arriving in Dubai.

Featured promotions include 45% off at Melia Desert Palm resort, a complimentary night’s stay at participating IHG hotels, a free ticket to Atlantis Dubai’s Aquaventure World water park and 20% off Hala taxi rides, among other offers. Benefits can be redeemed until 31 December 2026.

The programme comes as Dubai continues to roll out initiatives to grow tourism. The emirate welcomed a record 19.59 million overnight tourists in 2025, up 5% year on year.

Earlier this month, Dubai introduced a new five-year multiple-entry tourist visa for all nationalities to encourage repeat visits. The visa allows stays of up to 180 days without the need for a sponsor or host.
