Baker Hughes Wins Lifecycle Services Contract for ANOH Gas Plant in Nigeria

Baker Hughes has secured a contract from ANOH Gas Processing Company(AGPC)  to deliver comprehensive lifecycle services for turbomachinery equipment at the ANOH Gas Processing Plant in Nigeria, the company said in a statement.

The agreement covers spare parts supply, maintenance and repair services, as well as engineering advisory, in addition to the deployment of Baker Hughes’ iCenter™ digital solutions to support plant operations.

The contract reinforces Baker Hughes’ positioning as a lifecycle solutions provider and builds on its longstanding relationship with AGPC. According to Baker Hughes, in 2019, the company delivered an integrated power island solution for the greenfield facility, including two NovaLT™16 gas turbines — the first units of their kind supplied in Sub-Saharan Africa — alongside compressors and gear systems.

Under the new agreement, Baker Hughes will provide maintenance services for critical equipment at the plant, including the two NovaLT™16 gas turbines. The scope also includes remote monitoring and diagnostics through iCenter™, powered by the Cordant™ platform, aimed at enhancing reliability, availability and operational efficiency.

Engineering support will be delivered locally, with services executed through the Baker Hughes Service Center in Port Harcourt, which employs Nigerian talent and provides in-country lifecycle capabilities.

The ANOH Gas Processing Plant is a strategic part of Nigeria’s plan to monetize its natural gas resources and strengthen domestic energy infrastructure. Once fully operational, it is expected to play a significant role in supplying cleaner-burning fuel to the local market and supporting broader economic growth.
The project underscores ongoing efforts to expand gas processing capacity and reduce reliance on oil, in line with Nigeria’s broader energy transition goals.
