Food Taipei Mega Shows 2026 opens 24-27 June, bringing together five major exhibitions under one roof – Food Taipei, Foodtech Taipei, Bio/Pharmatech Taiwan, Taipei Pack, and Taiwan Horeca. Food & Drink Business senior journalist, Keira Joyce, will be on the ground reporting on the latest products and innovation.

Australia has a substantial trade relationship with Taiwan, with two-way goods and services trade between the countries worth $27.9 billion in 2025. Taiwan was Australia’s ninth largest goods and services export market in 2025, worth $17.5 billion. Australia remains an important exporter of agricultural and forestry products to Taiwan, and Australian supplements, and high quality food and beverages are increasingly popular with health conscious consumers in Taiwan.

Organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Food Taipei Mega Shows brings together global leaders from across the entire food industry supply chain to showcase ideas, products, and opportunities for the future food system. Last year the event welcomed 47,885 visitors from 84 countries/regions.

This year’s show features exhibitors from 33 countries and 21 national pavilions, including a booth featuring Australian food and beverage products, hosted by Trade & Investment Queensland.

Under the 2026 theme, Smart Eating x Green Living, Food Taipei Mega Shows brings together the full food industry value chain – from ingredients and processing to packaging and foodservice – to plan for the future of the global food industry.

Smart Eating champions precision nutrition, personalised diets, and next-generation food innovations that are reshaping the way the world eats, guiding global consumers toward healthier, more customised choices. Green Living harnesses technologies to enhance equipment performance, achieving high efficiency, energy savings, and carbon reduction, while reflecting the industry’s commitment to true sustainability.

The theme aims to move the 2026 edition of the show beyond a traditional trade platform to a forward-looking arena shaping the global food system. It highlights how AI, automation, and sustainability are transforming food production, while Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductors, precision manufacturing, and systems integration drive advances in food processing, smart packaging, and low-carbon supply chains.

All five shows will be held concurrently across three venues – TWTC Hall and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 & 2 – with Food & Drink Business primarily focusing on innovations and trends in Food and Foodtech across Taiwan and the APAC region.

Key highlights include the debut of the Fresh Living Pavilion at TWTC Hall 1, focusing on precision nutrition, plant-based innovation, and healthy-aging solutions. The pavilion brings together leading companies from Taiwan and abroad, showcasing innovations ranging from functional ingredients to next-generation health foods.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture will lead the Taiwan Pavilion alongside 16 local government pavilions, showcasing the island’s agricultural innovation, food R&D capabilities, and diverse regional specialties.

Alongside the exhibition, the Food Taipei Forum – Beyond Progress to Evolution and Wellness & Nutrition Summit will focus on AI, digital transformation, and consumer trends. The Green Vision Awards will recognize ESG leadership and sustainable innovation, and the event will also host a series of foods industry supply chain sourcing meetings, connecting global buyers and suppliers.
