The location of a banking hub’s permanent home in a town has been confirmed.
The facility for Turriff will be based at 1 Main Street.

A Cash Access UK spokesperson said: “The same services will be available once your banking hub moves, such as cash withdrawals, depositing cash and cheques and paying utility bills, as well as the community banker service, so you can speak to your own bank about more complicated matters on specific days.
“The community banker schedule is likely to stay the same but please check the hub window or the hub’s dedicated webpage nearer the time.”
The hub is temporarily based in SJA Spaces at 28 Main Street.
Its opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
The services it provides include pay in cash (notes and coin) and cheques; withdraw cash (notes and coin); check balance; pay utility bills; top up gas and electricity; and access change-giving services (for registered businesses).
People can also talk to a community banker on the day their bank is at the hub.
There is a private space where people can talk face-to-face about more complicated enquiries like payments and transfers, managing their account and how to use online banking.
The community banker schedule is Monday – TSB; Tuesday – No community banker available; Wednesday – Bank of Scotland; Thursday – Royal Bank of Scotland (9am – 4pm); Friday – Santander.
