Bank von Roll Expands Its Executive Board

According to a statement released on Tuesday, Michael Schnetzer has played a key role in shaping the bank’s asset management business over the past four years. He will now also oversee this division at executive board level. Schnetzer holds a doctorate in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich and previously worked for the Vita collective foundation.

Philipp Würmli has been appointed Head of Private Banking, taking responsibility for Bank von Roll’s core business. He brings 25 years of professional and leadership experience in private banking. Würmli spent a total of 22 years at Zürcher Kantonalbank and joins from Bergos, where he served as Head of Private Banking Switzerland.

Philippe Leuenberger, Chairman of the Board of Directors, commented: «With Philipp Würmli and Michael Schnetzer, we have appointed two proven experts to the executive board who share our values and will drive our strategy forward with conviction. Together with Bank von Roll’s long-standing CEO, Hans-Peter Schmid, we are now ideally positioned for the bank’s continued development.»
