Bringing the High-Performance N Driving Sensation to Virtual Reality
Global Collaboration with LG Electronics, Sony, Logitech, and More
Exclusive N-Design Cockpit Realizes Authentic Driving Experience

On May 11, Hyundai Motor Company announced the launch of the “Hyundai N Racing Simulator,” a virtual system that recreates the high-performance driving experience of its N lineup.

Hyundai developed this simulator in collaboration with global partners such as LG Electronics, Sony, Logitech, and Next Level Racing. Based on the PlayStation game “Gran Turismo 7,” the simulator incorporates a sophisticated physics engine grounded in real vehicle data to deliver the unique high-performance driving sensations characteristic of the N brand.

The Hyundai N Racing Simulator is available in two configurations according to specifications: Pro (PRO) and Racer (RACER). The PRO model features the premium LG OLED Pro panel from LG Electronics’ G Series and the PlayStation 5 Pro, offering high-end performance. The RACER model comes with a 65-inch LG OLED TV and PlayStation 5, providing a standard specification.

The cockpit is based on the Next Level Racing GT Elite Lite, customized with a Hyundai N-specific design. The seat is an Avante N Light Sports bucket seat, replicating a driving environment similar to that of an actual N vehicle.

The steering wheel and pedals utilize Logitech G’s “TRUEFORCE” feedback technology and the “RS50 SYSTEM Racing Wheel” equipped with a direct drive delivering up to 8N·m torque. The “RS Pedal” delivers precise braking, providing control sensations akin to a real race car.

Thanks to its superior performance, the Hyundai N Racing Simulator was selected as the official sim racing equipment for the national team trials of “Gran Turismo 7,” which has been chosen as an official e-sports event for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

At the national team trials for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games “Gran Turismo 7,” held during Round 1 of the Hyundai N Festival on May 8, Youngchan Kim secured first place and will represent the national team at the Asian Games finals in September.

For these national team trials, the “Avante N TCR” and “N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo” were used as competition vehicles. In addition, “IONIQ 5 N” and “Avante N” are available in-game. Hyundai plans to continue expanding its range of models through ongoing collaboration with Gran Turismo 7.

Hyundai will display the simulator at various locations so that customers can experience it firsthand, including the N e-Festival booth at the Hyundai N Festival and at Hyundai Motorstudio, with plans to gradually expand these installations. Sales will begin in limited quantities through “The Nthusiast,” Hyundai N’s paid membership service, and the company intends to diversify its sales channels in the future.
