This exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and co-organized by the EV Trend Korea Organizing Committee, will welcome 89 companies across the fields of finished vehicles, charging infrastructure, batteries, electronic components, vehicle software, and services. Five finished vehicle manufacturers, including Kia, KG Mobility (KGM), Volvo, and BMW, will display a total of 12 electrified vehicle models. Various programs are scheduled for both industry professionals and consumers.

Kia will unveil the EV3 and EV5, as well as the PBV-exclusive model PV5 Passenger. KGM will showcase the Actyon HEV, Torres EVX, and Musso EV. Volvo will present its flagship electric SUV, the EX90, and the electric sedan ES90. BMW will display the iX xDrive45 M Sport LCI and the iX3 50 xDrive M Sport. Meanwhile, BYD will bring the plug-in hybrid SUV Sealion 6 DM-i and the electric SUV Atto 3.

The “EV Ride 2026” experience event will allow participants to test drive vehicles on actual roads. Six models from BMW, KGM, and BYD will be available, offering preregistered and onsite participants the opportunity to experience driving performance and ride comfort on roads near COEX.

The opening day will feature the awards ceremony for the “EV Awards 2026,” now in its fifth year. This is an EV industry awards program that selects outstanding vehicles and products/services in the electric vehicle and charging infrastructure sectors through expert and consumer evaluations.

The Kia EV5 was selected as the “Electric Car of the Year in Korea” and received the Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment Award. It also claimed the title of “Consumer Choice Electric Car of the Year”—determined 100% by consumer surveys—making it a double award winner.

In the electric vehicle category chosen by the judging panel, Hyundai Motor’s “IONIQ 6 N” was recognized as the domestic winner, and Polestar’s “Polestar 3” was named the international winner. For the newly established “Media Pick” awarded by a group of journalists, Volvo’s ES90 received the honor this year.

In the charging infrastructure category, Chaevi and EL Electric were each selected as “Korea’s Charging Infrastructure of the Year,” earning the Minister of Climate, Energy and Environment Award.

Additionally, the export consultation meeting for overseas buyers, held in collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association, will bring together 20 companies from 10 countries and regions. These buyers will hold one-on-one consultations with domestic participants, seeking to pioneer new overseas markets and create new business opportunities.

Hwang Kyeyoung, President of the Korea Automobile Environmental Association, stated, “As the electric vehicle industry enters a new phase amidst changes in policy, technology, and market trends, I hope this event serves as an opportunity to share the latest global trends and explore strategies for sustainable development. The Korea Automobile Environmental Association will also actively support the advancement of the eco-friendly mobility industry.”
