€33 million in revenue: 85% of breakdowns fixed on the spot, ACL reports

With 191,000 members, 196,000 calls handled, and a turnover of nearly 33 million euros, the Automobile Club Luxembourg (ACL) presented strong results at its general assembly.

It is the largest club in the country, and the one that fields the most phone calls, with close to 191,000 members. The 196,000 calls taken by its central switchboard show that the ACL’s help and assistance are in demand around the clock.

At the general assembly, the ACL was also proud to note that 85% of all breakdowns in 2025 were repaired on site, which spared members the need for a tow.

These days, however, the ACL is far more than a roadside assistance service, a role the club has played for over 90 years. Its activities range from motorsport and karting, serving roughly 19,000 customers, to road safety and classic cars.

The club closed the year with a turnover of nearly €33 million, of which more than 21 million came from membership fees.

Miriam Eisenmenger remains chief executive, with Yves Wagner serving as director. The ACL has 225 employees and a fleet of 32 service vehicles at their disposal.
