TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – South Korean actor Gong Yoo will greet his fans in Indonesia as part of his fan meeting tour dubbed “2026 Gong Yoo Asia Fanmeeting Tour: The Long Take.” The special event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, starting at 7:00 p.m. local time.

The star of the hit K-drama Goblin is confirmed to visit Jakarta by promoter Three Mountain Ave. Through their social media posts, the promoter called on Gong Yoo fans to prepare for a special night with their idol.

“Jakarta, are you ready? The one you’ve been waiting for is finally coming,” it wrote on social media.

Although the date and venue have been officially confirmed, the organizers have not yet released details regarding the stage layout or ticketing mechanism. The promoter urges fans to stay tuned for updates, which will be announced soon through their official channels.

Gong Yoo’s presence in Jakarta is expected to be one of the biggest fan meetings of the year, given the actor’s steady popularity and widespread love among Korean film and TV series fans in Indonesia.

Gong Yoo, whose real name is Gong Ji Cheol, is one of the most influential actors in the South Korean entertainment industry. Beginning his acting career in the early 2000s, he achieved global popularity through numerous iconic roles in commercially successful drama series and feature films.

The actor’s international fame soared after starring in the legendary drama series Coffee Prince (2007) and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, also known as Goblin (2016).

Furthermore, his captivating performance in the blockbuster horror film Train to Busan (2016) and his appearances in the series Squid Game (2021 and 2024) further solidified his position as a world-class Hallyu star with a vast fan base in Indonesia.
