As Jakarta settles into the slower rhythm of mid-year, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta offers a sun-drenched escape to southern Italy without leaving the city. Running until 18 October 2026, Un Pomeriggio a Positano reimagines the familiar ritual of Italian afternoon tea, bringing the flavours, colours, and easy elegance of the Amalfi Coast to La Patisserie.

The afternoon tea session entails Italian-inspired savoury and sweet bites

Created by Italian chefs Lorenzo Sollecito and Riccardo Pellino, the seasonal experience draws on memories of home and transforms the afternoon tea session into a celebration of Italian la dolce vita. Rather than adhering to British way, the offering embraces Mediterranean exuberance through playful compositions, vibrant citrus notes, and a distinctly coastal sensibility.

The setting itself completes the journey. For this limited-time Italian-inspired afternoon tea, La Patisserie is adorned with abundant lemon displays, artisanal ceramics, and hand-painted tiles in brilliant shades of blue, yellow, and green. The atmosphere evokes the warmth of a Positano summer afternoon: refined yet effortlessly inviting, with a touch of seaside nostalgia woven into every detail.

Chef Riccardo leads the savoury selections with Carpaccio di Capesante, pairing Hokkaido scallops with bright lemon gel, while Cannolo di Parmigiana offers a crisp shell filled with silky aubergine parmigiana purée and hazelnut. Additionally, Spaghetti al Gambero wraps delicate king prawn mousse in strands of pasta, and Tartelletta Caprese brings together mozzarella and tomato concassé in a bite-sized tribute to southern Italy.

On the sweeter side, Chef Lorenzo presents a collection equally rooted in Italian tradition. Limone, Limone e Limone layers lemon white chocolate mousse, lemon gel, and lemon-vanilla sponge, while Babà Fragola e Basilico reinterprets the Neapolitan classic with mascarpone Chantilly and strawberry compote. The beloved Baci di Dama, with its hazelnut biscuits and dark chocolate filling, rounds off the experience with quiet familiarity.

Priced at IDR 658,000 for two guests, the Italian style afternoon tea includes premium blends from Dammann Frères alongside Stufato al Limone, a subtle savoury accompaniment that bridges the courses. More than a seasonal menu, Un Pomeriggio a Positano by La Patisserie at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta invites diners to embrace an Italian afternoon tea ritual shaped by sunshine, conviviality, and the enduring romance of the Mediterranean coast.
