The 2026 CMAS World Championship Underwater Hockey was held in Türkiye in July 2026. The Chinese U19 Underwater Hockey National Team—featuring Liu Kaiqi, a student from Guangzhou No. 17 Middle School—competed through several intense rounds and ultimately achieved an outstanding eighth-place finish.
