A few weeks into the precarious ceasefire in the Middle East war, Dubai is attempting to pick itself up and move on from its worst-ever security crisis.

The emirate has been the pre-eminent target for Iranian attacks against the Gulf states, launched in late February in retaliation for the US-Israeli bombing campaign that has killed Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, scores of regime figures and thousands of civilians.
