Katie Price shows off new ring from husband Lee Andrews after his Dubai prison release

Katie Price has been pictured showing off a new ring from her husband Lee Andrews after he was released from a Dubai prison

Katie Price has unveiled yet another ring from her husband, Lee Andrews, amid claims that he previously used her original band to propose to another woman.

The former glamour model has publicly reaffirmed her commitment to Andrews, despite reports suggesting she had flown to Dubai to end the marriage. His release from the emirate’s notorious Al Awir prison appears to have shifted the mood, though Price insists he still has “questions to answer”, according to the Mirror.

Price has now returned to the Middle East, where Andrews is understood to have attempted a charm offensive with an extravagant gift. She reposted a sun‐soaked photograph of the pair in Dubai, accompanied by a caption hailing the couple, who married within days of first meeting, as ‘wedding goals’.

Katie approved of the image and posted it to her Facebook followers. She captioned it “Mr and Mrs. Love my new ring”. Lee made headlines when it was alleged he used the identical ring to propose to his influencer former partner Dina Taj as he did when he proposed to Katie.

The latest ring is the most recent gift he has purchased, having bought her another ring weeks after their wedding in January. Following a turbulent fortnight of rumours about his location, it emerged Lee had been imprisoned. Upon his release from custody last week, his immediate priority was to contact his wife.

A source revealed: “He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn’t pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid.

“She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well.”

Katie arrived back in the UK without her wedding ring last week following her visit to see Lee in prison, though a source revealed she has no intention of ending the relationship.

She stated she had been asked to pay a six-figure sum to secure Lee’s release but had refused to do so. “The only way Lee will get out of prison is he has to sort himself it out himself. If not, he’ll be in prison. I’m not here [in Dubai] to pay anything for anyone. There’s nothing I can do. I’ve got my own life, even though he’s part of my life,” she said.

Lee originally claimed he’d been arrested and held following accusations of espionage. It was subsequently reported to be a private civil matter.

For the first time, Katie also revealed she needed Lee to provide her with answers – warning she’ll walk away if he doesn’t. “I need answers, and if I don’t like the answers, I’ll be gone,” she told the Sun newspaper.

She continued: “I’m 48. I don’t need to waste my time. We get along really well and he’s so intelligent … As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I’m really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.”
