Chongqing Bay launches luxury housing products

Recently, Chongqing Bay, the highly anticipated million-square-meter waterfront complex, reached a new milestone. The project has officially unveiled product details for its inaugural ultra-luxury residential cluster, featuring premium finished residences ranging from 137 to 980 square meters, set to redefine the standards of top-tier luxury living in Chongqing.

Developed through a partnership between China Great Wall Asset Management and Sunac China, Chongqing Bay is master-planned by a global team of experts led by Academician Cui Kai of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The project integrates seven major formats: urban landmarks, flagship commercial spaces, international hotels, ultra-luxury residences, historical preservation zones, waterfront blocks, and prestigious educational facilities. The newly launched residential cluster, SKY ONE, represents the final and only ultra-high-rise luxury residential group in Chongqing’s core district.

Boundless Panoramic Views: A 198-Meter Ultra-Fluid Platinum Diamond Landmark

Built upon the “super foundation” of Chongqing Bay’s million-square-meter footprint, SKY ONE is the result of over 30 master plan iterations, 100+ floor plan refinements, and 20+ rounds of facade innovation. The result is a “Seven Stars in Alignment” layout featuring an ultra-high-rise residential cluster reaching 150-198 meters.

To provide residents with the ultimate visual experience, designers conducted hundreds of simulations, on-site aerial photography, and precise adjustments to building heights and angles. Through a theater-style layout and an innovative butterfly-wing design, the project achieves an exceptional 83.5% river-view coverage.

The facade features custom double-silver luxury Low-E glass, accented with rare stones like “Wyndham Super Grey” and “Italian Ice Age.” This creates a near “zero-paint” curtain wall system, a rarity in Chongqing. With 3.3-meter ceiling heights, column-free LDKG (Living-Dining-Kitchen-Gallery) layouts, a 75% window-to-wall ratio, custom push-out window systems, floor-to-ceiling windows without anti-seepage curbs, and nearly invisible glass railings, the design dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior, allowing the mountains, river, city, and sky to flow seamlessly into the home. Notably, the crown of each tower features nine “CPNINE” ultra-penthouse units, each equipped with five-level sky gardens and cantilevered infinity pools, serving as the “crown jewels” of the Chongqing skyline.

40,000 sqm Aman-Style Gardens and Bvlgari-Inspired “Zero-Gap” Finishes

In the heart of the city, SKY ONE draws inspiration from the philosophy of Aman hotels, focusing on the six senses: light, shadow, wind, stillness, purity, and ambiance. It features a 40,000-square-meter “World Floating Island Resort,” including a rare 20,000-square-meter central courtyard that offers residents the privilege of natural, quiet, and “hidden luxury.”

The arrival experience follows a “Five-Fold Ritual.” From the floating entrance gate and water features to the artistic covered walkways, residents are welcomed with grace regardless of the weather. The journey continues through a 5.8-meter-wide inorganic terrazzo driveway, luxury stone-finished dual lobbies, private elevator halls with custom family crests, and high-speed, touchless elevators.

The interior finishes, crafted by four master designers, incorporate the precious luster of ivory white, crystal purple, emerald green, and “Monet Garden” stones. Textures of Nice wood and leather comparable to Rolls-Royce standards are paired with patterns inspired by Chongqing’s mist, Shu embroidery, camellias, and historic architecture, infusing the space with Bvlgari’s aesthetic spirit. Notably, SKY ONE offers the only “zero-gap” (fully furnished) luxury product under 200 sqm in Chongqing, featuring hidden storage, artistic lighting, full-house silent ecosystems, AI-driven security, KNX smart home systems, and top-tier international kitchen and bath brands.

12,000 sqm Super Clubhouse Matrix

From the hillside waterfall main clubhouse to the seven “floating” clubhouses in the building voids, SKY ONE provides a “1+7+X” clubhouse matrix spanning over 12,000 square meters-a scale unprecedented in Chongqing’s luxury market.

The 6,600-square-meter “Super Yacht Clubhouse,” paying homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, includes an executive lounge, high-end swimming pools, fitness centers, fine dining, spas, private KTV, cigar bars, and sunset lounges. Additionally, seven themed clubhouses (totaling 6,000 sqm) are located at the base of each tower, catering to business, culture, fitness, children’s growth, and family services.

Beyond the top-tier “Gui Xin Li Yu” service system, SKY ONE will introduce a private butler service certified by both “Dutch Butler” and “Golden Keys” standards. It will also establish the “World Island Leader Club,” offering nine exclusive privileges, including wealth management, health checkups, aesthetic care, private travel, education planning, overseas immigration, art collection, business travel, and philanthropy, providing high-net-worth owners with a bespoke lifestyle that exceeds all expectations.

The Chongqing Bay real-life demonstration area is set to open in May. SKY ONE is currently accepting limited reservations for units ranging from 137 to 980 square meters.
