Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun Named President of Thailand’s Marketing Association

Chulalongkorn University congratulates Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun, Chief Brand Officer of Chulalongkorn University and Head of the Marketing Department, Chulalongkorn University Business School, on his appointment as President of the Marketing Association of Thailand for the 2026–2028 term. 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun is a marketer widely recognized at both national and international levels. He graduated from the University of Cambridge and earned a master’s degree with top honors from Cornell University, as well as first-class honors in marketing from Chulalongkorn University Business School. 

In terms of leadership and industry, he serves as the Chairman of Thailand Post and has held board positions in several leading organizations, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand, National Telecom PCL., and S. Khonkaen Foods PCL. He has also acted as a marketing and branding advisor for major organizations such as SCG, SCGP, Betagro, and AirAsia alongside his role as Head of the Department of Marketing at Chulalongkorn University Business School.
