PETALING JAYA:
The newfound unshakeable confidence of men’s doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani at the Indonesia Open continued in the final, beating home heroes Raymond Indra- Nikolaus Jaoquin to lift the prestigious World Tour Super 1000 title.
The world No 8 Malaysian pair silenced the home crowd roar at the Istora Senayan in a pulsating final match which saw Sze Fei-Izzuddin coming from a game down to win 13-21, 21-18, 21-10 in 48 minutes.
The victory was extra special for the Malaysians as it was their second title at the Istora Senayan in Jakarta this year, where they beat the same rivals in January to lift the Indonesia Masters crown.
