Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia’s National Police chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo said the new Yogyakarta Regional Police headquarters will adopt a smart city model, integrating data systems to support faster, more accurate decision-making.

At the project launch on Sunday, he said the first concept is a control center aggregating real-time data to improve operational responses.

“Second, we will deploy social listening and sentiment intelligence to monitor public opinion, especially on social media, enabling faster and more effective responses,” he said.

He added the model also includes a cybersecurity center to protect systems and data from hacking, fraud and other digital threats.

The fourth concept involves systems that convert collected data and operational experience into actionable insights.

Listyo said the integrated system is expected to help leaders make smarter, more accurate and more sustainable decisions.
