The US administration is already working on preparing a visit by President Donald Trump to India, which could take place in early 2027. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated this in an interview with the Indian agency IANS, UNN reports, citing Bloomberg.

According to Rubio, he plans to visit India again before the end of this year to prepare for the upcoming visit of the American president. He also noted that negotiations on a bilateral trade agreement are in the final stages, and agreements could be reached in the coming weeks or months.
In addition, the Secretary of State stated that Washington seeks to expand cooperation with India in the energy sector. According to him, the US is ready to help increase global oil supplies, including through Venezuela, whose oil can be efficiently processed by Indian refineries.
