Mayer Brown has been recognized as a “Key Player” for India-related work in India Business Law Journal’s (IBLJ) 2026 report, marking the fourth consecutive year the firm has received this recognition.

The recognition follows a comprehensive selection process that includes extensive consultations with India-focused corporate counsel and partners at Indian law firms, supported by submissions from international firms and independent research and interviews conducted by IBLJ’s editorial team.

The accolade reflects the depth of Mayer Brown’s India practice and the firm’s continued commitment to advising clients on complex and sophisticated India-related matters across Capital Markets, Corporate M&A, Banking & Finance, Dispute Resolution, and International Trade.

Mayer Brown supports clients undertaking business in India and acts for Indian diversified family conglomerates, corporations, Indian State and private banks and institutions with their legal requirements outside of India. Mayer Brown’s India group offers a thorough understanding of the Indian legal market that we leverage to support our clients around the world who face legal challenges when undertaking business involving India.

Mayer Brown’s India practice group is co-led by David Carpenter (US), Paul de Bernier (US), and Tom Kollar (Hong Kong).
