Swedish AI IP firm Abrande, led by CEO Simon Fouladi, has expanded to Hong Kong to offer trademark services in Greater China.

Swedish intellectual property firm Abrande has launched its first Asia-Pacific office in Hong Kong. The move marks the company’s entry into the Greater China market.

The Gothenburg-based startup has appointed Valerie Suen as managing director. She joins from ELLALAN and brings more than a decade of experience advising multinational companies on intellectual property matters across China and Hong Kong.

Abrande said its Hong Kong office will handle trademark services including registration, enforcement and dispute resolution. The firm will also support cross-border IP strategies for companies operating between Asia and international markets.

Founded in 2025, Abrande combines AI technology with legal expertise to offer fixed-fee trademark services. The company’s expansion reflects growing demand for brand protection in Greater China, driven by increased cross-border business activity.
