UAE to establish national fund valued at Dh1 billion for industrial resilience

Dubai ruler has stated that UAE has adopted a package of initiatives and decisions to support the national industrial sector,  including the establishment of a national fund valued at one billion dirhams for industrial resilience to support the localization of vital industries, enhance supply chain resilience, and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in production, operations, and planning.

Sheikh Mohammed also stated that the scope of “National Content Program” will be expanded to make it mandatory and include all federal government entities and national companies.

Also, Sheikh Mohammed said that a policy will be adopted to support the presence of national products in sales outlets and electronic platforms for the primary goal to fully localize more than 5,000 vital products.
