MANDARIN ORIENTAL DOWNTOWN, DUBAI INVITES GUESTS TO SLOW DOWN THIS SUMMER WITH THE DOWNSHIFT RETREAT

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai invites GCC residents to embrace a slower, more mindful rhythm this summer season. Guests are invited to unwind with The Downshift Retreat, a restorative wellbeing package designed to gently move guests from mental intensity to grounded calm through immersive spa experiences, nourishing dining and considered in-room rituals.

Ideal for a summer escape rooted in stillness, the retreat offers UAE residents the opportunity to step away from the pace of the city without leaving the city. Set against sweeping skyline views from the hotel’s elegantly appointed rooms and suites, the experience is thoughtfully curated to restore balance, encourage rest and support deeper reconnection over the summer months.

At the heart of the retreat is the Signature Downshift Treatment, a 90-minute restorative ritual combining guided breathwork, slow rhythmic full-body massage, targeted facial and jaw release, and a mindful closing ceremony designed to ease both physical and mental tension. Guests will also experience a 60-minute Assisted Stretching session led by a skilled practitioner, using slow supported stretches to improve mobility, decompress joints and release long-held tension throughout the body.

The staycation includes daily breakfast spread at Breakfast on 36th, where HMN24 Rise supplements are also served as part of the wellness offering, access to a nutritious wellness menu at Noia by The Pool for lunch and dinner, and impressive in-room touches such as a calming turndown ritual designed to extend relaxation beyond the spa.

To ensure guests can fully embrace a slower pace, the retreat also includes early check-in from 12pm and late check-out until 4pm, subject to availability, allowing for a seamless and unhurried experience from arrival to departure.

Valid year-round and subject to availability, The Downshift Retreat requires a minimum two-night stay and includes up to 20% off the Best Available Rate.

Overlooking the iconic Burj Khalifa and the city skyline , Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai offers a serene urban sanctuary where contemporary luxury and holistic wellbeing come together. The hotel provides an ideal setting for guests seeking restoration, stillness and meaningful downtime.

Further information is available via the hotel’s website and social media channels, including the Media Centre: mandarinoriental.com/en/dubai/downtown
