Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has dismissed claims he was detained in Dubai. Earlier today, Price and her fourth husband, Lee, were due to make their first television appearance together on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

However, just hours before the show was due to be filmed and broadcast live from London, Katie was left “gutted” after Lee failed to arrive in the UK. The self-proclaimed millionaire lives in Dubai, where he and Price claim all his business work is conducted.

Since the couple met earlier this year and subsequently married days after their first meeting, Katie has been flying back and forth between the UK and Dubai to see her husband, despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. She told anchors Susanna Reid and Ed Balls that Lee had missed his flight due to work commitments.

However, hours earlier, Lee sent a video of himself to Katie, filmed at the airport. Katie told Susanna and Ed that Lee was due to fly out of Muscat, in Oman. Susanna explained to viewers that Katie and Lee were due to appear together, but things changed yesterday.

Susanna explained that a spokesperson for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office stated that a British national had been detained in the United Arab Emirates, with the show believing this to be Lee, something Katie denied, claiming she had spoken to Lee.

Mr Andrews, originally from the UK, has since spoken out about the allegation of being denied. In an Instagram Story video shared with his 128,000 followers, he said: “I didn’t make the Good Morning Britain, I am not detained, I am in the airport in Muscat, Oman.

“I’m gonna put on my police app, and I was just on the phone to Kate just after her interview, showing that I don’t have any travel bans because I’ve already left the UAE so, yeah guys, wasn’t me who was detained. I don’t know who they called the Foreign Office or Home Office. Is there a Brit that’s been detained? Definitely not me, OK, here I am, here I am with my passport, yeah, it’s not me.”

In another video, Mr Andrews went on to say: “Yes, I’m at the airport and I’m flying to my wife, who did very well on Good Morning Britain today. I’m on my way to her. I had a couple of things I had to do last-minute. Couldn’t make the show. I was hoping to get on there over the Zoom link but they just carried on with Kate, which who did really well and fantastic.

“So no one was detained, I don’t know where that came from. There’s obviously a lot of police in the airport, CID, cameras, everything. Definitely not a wanted man. Can’t wait to get to my wife. I’m really looking forward to seeing you Katie. I love you so much. I’m on my way to you. Sorry that I got delayed and I couldn’t make the show, guys, but we’ll get on the sofa soon. Anyway, I love you all. Keep it real, all of you. Don’t listen to any noise, I’m definitely not someone who’s been detained or who’s wanted.”

However, in Lee’s video, although he claims to have been at Muscat International Airport, the background appeared to be Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport. Lee had previously claimed to have visited the UK and met Katie’s eldest son, Harvey, as well as Princess and Junior.

However, a representative for Katie confirmed that this was not the case. A source close to Junior and Princess also said that Katie’s children, whom she shares with ex Peter Andre, have never met Lee in person.
