Katie Price sparks fan concern buying new pomsky puppy in Dubai with Lee Andrews

Katie Price and her husband Lee Andrews have bought a new pomsky puppy in Dubai for around €2,300, but fans have raised concerns over the pet’s welfare

Katie Price has left fans concerned after she unveiled her and Lee Andrews’ new ‘baby boy’ – a pet pomsky dog.

Katie posted a video of herself and Lee putting pen to paper on a contract for the pet dog, a male pomsky, which is a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian. The couple’s contract reveals they paid 9,800 dirhams for the animal, which works out at roughly €2,300.

The paperwork, dated Saturday, captures Lee and Katie holding hands as he declares they are “proud parents” to a “baby boy”, while Katie can be heard stating they have no children “but this is our little boy”.

The acquisition – completed through World of Pets – shows Katie putting her signature on the paperwork before dashing off excitedly as Lee confirms he’ll handle the remaining signature. Lee maintained the dog was jointly owned by both of them.

Katie has quite the track record with pets, disclosing just days earlier that while she was enjoying the sunshine in Dubai, two of her Sphynx cats – Eileen and Doris – had been taken from her property, reports the Mirror.

She continued: “I came to Dubai Wednesday and my cats were home Tuesday night. I live in a private area and my cats don’t just disappear. Who ever has them return them. They are my babies.”

Katie has experienced a string of pet deaths in recent years. In 2023, her German Shepherd dog Blade was struck and killed.

It followed six months after Sharon the Pomeranian was also reported to have died on the same road. That same year, she received a visit from the RSPCA following the death of her seventh pet in her care.

At the time, she claimed Blade had been deliberately killed in a targeted attack against her. She later took to Instagram to say: “Update – RSPCA have been up to my house not having any concerns about my animals and never had.

“We are trying to put together how Blade has been killed and his last steps as this is a deliberate target to kill him.”

Katie sparked fury among fans earlier this year when she made a candid admission about her animals following her marriage to Lee.

“I’ve got to sort out what I’m going to do with the animals because obviously Lee’s in Dubai and I’m going to keep going to Dubai and back. I’ve got 12 animals in the house. I know I like things excessive like big cars, big boobs, big bum, lots of animals, horses, this, that. I think I need to re-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything,” she said at the time.

“Because, yeah do I need so many animals? You know you gotta be there, all the time for them. Do I need….anyway everything I do is excessive, we all know that. You know that, I know that. So, I am gonna have to re-evaluate things in my life.”

Her latest acquisition has left followers deeply concerned, with one writing: “Husky in Dubai? Poor thing has two coats.”

Another added: “Rescue homes DO NOT put SOLD on the pens! They put “reserved”. I just feel so sorry for this poor unsuspecting fur baby! !” A third penned: “Where is home? Not a hotel?” with a fourth writing: “A husky in Dubai must be absolute torture for the poor pup!” A fifth added: “She’s not even bought it, where it gonna live? Cause she deffo not bringing it back to uk.”
