Katie Price issues warning to Lee Andrews during FaceTime call after Dubai prison release

Katie Price was beaming after husband Lee Andrews was released from Dubai’s Al Awir prison – but warned him she has unanswered ‘questions’ following his stint behind bars

Lee Andrews might be grinning from ear to ear after being freed from prison, but he’s certainly not in the clear when it comes to his missus Katie Price. The former glamour model, 48, delivered a blunt warning to husband number four after he finally secured his liberty almost a month after vanishing.

Lee was spotted on FaceTime looking remarkably well and cheerful following his time behind bars at the infamous Al Awir prison in Dubai. But while he may have appeared upbeat, Katie has cautioned him that stormy weather could lie ahead.

She had words with her bloke on FaceTime moments after his release. And Katie frankly informed her partner: “I’m excited – but trust me, I have questions.”

Katie disclosed her chat to The Sun. She revealed her man sporting a baseball cap and boasting a deep tan. It’s believed Katie plans to visit Lee in the coming days and a confrontation is anticipated, reports the Mirror.

A source informed the publication: “He called Kate straight away and she was thrilled – not least because she didn’t pay a penny of the £140,000 fine to get him out. “Of course she has heard the discourse surrounding him, and she’s not stupid. She knows the optics aren’t great if she stays with this man. But as any woman who has been love-bombed knows, it’s hard to leave when you’re being treated so well..”

They acknowledged Katie remains smitten with her man, despite his “despicable actions”. Self-declared millionaire Lee found himself incarcerated in Dubai’s infamous prison after initially disappearing. Katie’s worries for her partner escalated to fears of kidnapping when she was unable to reach him last month.

He had been thrown into the prison on suspicion of fraud, despite his assertions that he had been arrested for espionage. Katie previously sought to reassure fans that this was not a publicity stunt designed to attract media attention. She emphatically told the publication: “This is real, this is real life; this is my life. It has been a tough few weeks, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve still stayed strong through it all, and I have a smile on my face.”

Katie, who has two children with Peter Andre, added: “So, in this situation, I’m doing what I want to do, and I’m out here in Dubai, because I’m here to help Lee. Some people might not like my choices, but I’m not living for everyone else.”

When Lee first disappeared, his ex, Alana Percival, lashed out at him and his actions. She took to Instagram and wrote: “Has he faked his own kidnapping? I would if I was him knowing that I’m about to open some doors! In my eye all just one big joke he is just playing his sick games.”

She continued: “Thank you all so so much for such amazing lovely messages I know to start a lot of people thought I was being bitter or fame hungry but now I think you can all start to see what this awful man is all about. See why I wanted to protect Katie from the things that he has put not just me but exes through in the past.”
