Manama — Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned the ongoing and unjustified Iranian assaults targeting the United Arab Emirates, including the launch of two drones.
The ministry described the attacks as “a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness, as well as a breach of UN Security Council Resolution 2817 and the regional ceasefire declaration.”
Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with the UAE and expressed complete support for all legitimate measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, citizens, and residents, citing the deep fraternal ties between the two nations.
The statement also renewed calls for enhanced regional and international cooperation to protect civilian lives and vital infrastructure, ensure freedom and safety of maritime navigation, and strengthen peace and security at both regional and global levels.
