China’s exports of green-energy products rose 51% from a year earlier in July, led by a near-doubling in overseas shipments of new-energy vehicles, while total vehicle exports reached a new record.
The strong showing highlights how the so-called “new three” growth drivers —new-energy vehicles, lithium batteries and photovoltaic products — together with a global semiconductor rally, are supporting China’s trade momentum as exporters front-load shipments ahead of changes in U.S. tariffs.
